Elos Fixturlaser AB was founded in 1984. The company develops, manufactures and markets laser based shaft alignment tools for rotating machinery. Our instruments are used by maintenance departments in process, pulp & paper, power generation, and shipping industries, among others.
In 1993, the entire company was acquired by Westergyllen AB. When Westergyllen AB in 2008 decided to change its name to Elos AB, so did we, i.e. Elos Fixturlaser AB. Elos AB is organized in two business areas: Medical Technology and Precision Technology. The group is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB, Small Cap List, the Swedish stock exchange market.
Since Fixturlaser was founded, the original philosophies and founding principles have not changed.

We have taken our commitment and our passion for innovation and applied them to developing unique solutions to meet virtually all sorts of shaft alignment problems. While many of our products are designed for shaft alignment of rotating machinery, you will find Fixturlaser solutions also for various geometrical measurements, such as straightness and flatness.
Care for our environment and awareness that our natural resources are limited and should be used in a responsible way have always been of great importance to Fixturlaser. Not only do our products help our customers to conserve energy, but we also strive towards designing, producing and distributing them in a way that minimizes their negative impact on the environment. To guide us in this work, Fixturlaser has an environmental management system that is certified according to ISO 14001:2004.
Our commitment has served us well. Today, Fixturlaser products can be found in most parts of the world and we are represented in some 70 countries around the globe through a network of independent distributors.
