Environmental Policy
The laser alignment products, services and working methods of Elos Fixturlaser AB, will be characterized by efficiency.
One tool to achieve this is to systematically measure and analyze the company’s processes and to run the organization in an efficient manner in order to accomplish constant improvements.
Care for our environment and awareness that our natural resources are limited and should be used in a responsible way have always been of great importance to Fixturlaser. Not only do our products help our customers to conserve energy, but we also strive towards designing, producing and distributing them in a way that minimizes their negative impact on the environment. To guide us in this work, Fixturlaser has an environmental management system that is certified according to ISO 14001:2004.
Elos Fixturlaser shall ensure that their operations minimise adverse impacts on the environment. Specifically, we shall:
- Comply with all applicable environmental laws in the country of operation, and in so doing obtain and maintain the necessary registrations, permits and licences;
- Establish systems for ensuring the safe handling, movement, storage, disposal, recycling, reuse or management of raw materials, waste, air emissions and wastewater discharges. In this regard, any waste, wastewater or emissions with the potential to adversely impact human or environmental health shall be controlled and treated prior to release into the environment;
- Avoid contamination of the local environment by preventing spills and accidental releases, and ensure that air, noise and odour pollution is within nationally defined limits; and,
- Continuously improve environmental performance by setting environmental targets, initiating action plans and undertaking necessary improvements identified by internal or external assessments.
