The need for reliable power generation continues to increase throughout the world. Today, there is a focus on power production in general, including the construction of new plants and the retrofit of existing units. There is a demand for increased efficiency, reliability, and availability, while at the same time plant operators are being pressured to reduce costs and outage durations. To accomplish these goals, plant maintenance, equipment retrofit and new installations have to be performed even more efficiently.
